The cable driven manual 4X4 actuator is a great replacement for your factory electronic motor driven actuator that will cause you non-stop problems on your Honda Foreman and Rubicon.
We recommend this kit to everyone that has dealt with the Honda Electric 4X4 actuators.
The factory 4X4 actuator will fail 99% of the time, causing you headache on the trails.
You may have noticed when you press your 4X4 button, your front diff will not engage, or you'll see a "4X4" light flashing on your screen. This Manual Actuator Kit will solve all of your 4X4 issues.
This product replaces OEM part number 41700-HR4-A21
The light upgrade allows the Manual Actuator to display which position your diff is in, just like factory. 4X4 or Difflock will be displayed on your dash.
Please Note: NEVER FORCE YOUR SHIFTER! When the gears inside the differential are lined up, the lever will easily slide into position You can switch into 4WD and Diff Lock while moving slow (5 MPH MAX!) and turning your handle bars.

Love it
Little bit of a pain to get properly adjusted and go together with light on dash. Once all of that is done works great.
Works great once you understand how it properly works. I wish the had some paper instructions to go with it, the videos weren't the best.
Just installed on my 2019 foreman 500 seems to work great only complaint is it’s hard to get it into diff lock but other then that beats the electric 4x4 switch all day
