Upgrade the Drivetrain on Your Honda with Terache Heavy-Duty CV Axles

If you’re running a lifted build, oversized tires, gear reductions or portals on your Honda ATV/UTV, then the weakest link in the drivetrain often becomes the CV axles. That’s where our Terache Heavy-Duty CV Axle lineup comes in—designed for serious off-road machines and built to handle the abuse.
At Vessel Powersports we’re proud to offer these reinforced axles for several Honda platforms: the 2015+ Rubicon & Rancher IRS, the 2014+ Foreman solid rear axle, and the 2014+ Rancher SRA (Solid Rear Axle) models. See the links below for fitment, features and pricing (all ship from our warehouse):

Stock axles from Honda are designed for typical trail/utility use. But once you add big tires, lift kits, gear reductions or portals, you increase torque, leverage and stress on those components. This frequently leads to failures: snapped shafts, axle cups shearing, boots tearing, or joints popping out of the differential.
With our Terache HD CV Axles you get:
Increased shaft diameter: 25% larger than OEM in many cases.
Larger axle cups: 35% increase in size to handle higher loads.
Heat-treated/dual heat treated splines and components to resist wear in high-torque use.
Direct-fit for the listed Honda platforms – no modifications required.
Designed to work with lifted setups (for example, paired with our 2″ bracket lift) without binding.
In short: when you’re running aggressively, you don’t want to be held back (or stranded) by weak factory driveline parts.

Here’s a breakdown of which axle fits which machine:
2015-2019 Honda Rubicon & Rancher IRS / 2020+ Rubicon 520 & Rancher IRS — Vessel Powersports
2014+ Honda Foreman (Solid Rear Axle models) — Vessel Powersports
2014+ Honda Rancher (Solid Rear Axle models / SRA) — Vessel Powersports
If you run portals, gear reductions, high-HP mods or oversized tires, these axles are an important part of building a stout drivetrain.

From my years in the mobile detailing / aftermarket field, and now marine/powersports accessory work, here are the things that stand out when upgrading axle strength:
Less downtime — One break means you’re stuck on the trail. Upgraded axles help you finish the ride.
Confidence to push harder — Whether you’re mudding, rock crawling or trail racing, you know the drivetrain will hold.
Better resale & build quality — If you ever sell the machine, customers will see the upgraded internals as added value.
Compatibility with future mods — As you add more suspension travel, bigger tires and higher torque, these axles are already in place.

We know Honda platforms inside out (Rancher, Foreman, Rubicon, Pioneer). We also know what happens when folks push their UTVs/ATVs hard. That’s why we stock heavy-duty parts like these and offer them with fast shipping, installation support and warranty backing. With our experience in aftermarket restyling and service support, we’re not just selling parts — we’re backing builds.

Because these are direct-fit replacements, you won’t need modifications.
However, if you run super large tires or extreme travel suspension, double-check your axle angles and clearance.
When installing, always inspect boots and joints—dirty boots often lead to premature failure.
After heavy use (mud, rocks, water) it’s good practice to rinse and inspect your axles and boots regularly to prolong life.
Remember: Even upgraded axles can fail if boots get torn and contaminants get in.

If you’re running a modified Honda ATV/UTV and you’re done with the factory axle weak link, these Terache Heavy-Duty CV Axles are an upgrade you’ll feel—and one you’ll appreciate when you’re deep in the mud or climbing rocks and your machine just keeps going.
Head over to the product pages above, pick the appropriate version for your machine, and lock in that peace of mind. Your build deserves it — your machine will thank you.
